This policy explains how Natalyst collects, uses, and retains information when you use our iOS and Android apps and website.

Information we collect

We collect account identifiers and settings, and the information you add to Natalyst: portfolios, investments, transactions, income, expenses, and financial plans. We also keep the balances and performance history needed to show your financial overview.

When you use the service, technical information may be processed, including network information, request times, account identifiers, and error reports.

How we use information

We use this information to provide your financial tracking tools, maintain your account, respond to support requests, and keep the service reliable and secure.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, data storage, and network protection, including OVH, MongoDB Atlas, and Cloudflare. These providers may process information needed to deliver those services.

Market data providers receive requests for market symbols and currencies, along with network information. Your personal financial history is not intentionally shared with them.

Advertising and analytics

Natalyst does not currently use advertising or product analytics tools in its apps. This website does not use cookies or analytics scripts. Hosting and security providers may still process network information.

Data retention

We keep your account information and financial records while your account remains active. Technical records are retained to support service operation and security; their retention periods vary by provider.

After account deletion, your information may remain in backups. Some backup copies are retained indefinitely, so we cannot currently specify a maximum period for removal from all backups.

We retain limited account deletion records indefinitely to prevent a deleted account from being reactivated. These records do not include your financial history.

Your choices and account deletion

You can update your financial records in the app and request permanent account deletion in Settings or through our account deletion page. Deletion removes your account and financial records from the active service, subject to the backup and deletion-record retention described above.

Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your account. Copies of information may remain on your other devices until you clear their app storage.

For questions or requests about your personal information, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request. Never email your account secret.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
